How to Choose a Bible Reading Plan

This fall, let’s immerse ourselves in the life of Jesus by reading through all four gospels.

Choose your plan.

While our goal is to read through the gospels together as a church, everyone will be going at their own pace. So choose the plan that’s best for you, and start reading!

Choose a time.

When will you read? First thing in the morning? During your lunch break? In the evening before bed?

Remind yourself of the time you’ve chosen, whether by writing it into your schedule, sticking a post-it note in your lunch box, or propping up your Bible by your bed. Be intentional about setting aside this time.

If you miss a day, or even several days, don’t be discouraged, and don’t give up! Just pick up with the next day and keep reading.

Find a reading buddy.

We know that the best way to stick with something is to invite others to join in. Who will you invite to go through the reading plan with you?

Send a friend a quick message right now with the link to your chosen plan. Let’s do this together!

Spend time with Jesus.

Remember, the goal of this reading plan is to get to know Jesus better and grow closer to him. What will happen when we spend time daily in Jesus’ life? You may be surprised at how much it can change you…
