We live in a highly sexualized culture. Pornography is a multi-billion dollar industry that is accessible with just a click of a button. It often seems sexual promiscuity is the norm, not the exception.
We know that’s not the life that God desires for us, and sometimes it feels like we’re swimming upstream when trying to make good choices.
This week, Daniel Owen shares how the book of Proverbs provides wisdom for fighting seduction and making wise choices in a culture that makes it quite difficult.
Here are a few recommended resources to learning more, as well as tools to help take the next right step.

In Daniel’s message this week, he recommended a book called Surfing for God by Michael John Cusick. Starting in September, there will be a Surfing For God men’s book study on Monday evenings at Brader Way. This is a helpful next step for any man who’s looking to effectively address the temptation of pornography. If you’re interested in learning more about the study or would like to talk to someone about this issue, you can confidentially contact our Care Ministry using this form. (Although the book study is for men, we also have resources available for women who are dealing with this issue.)
In addition to this book study, we have a couple of helpful posts in the Next Steps archive:
