Does God exist?

As a part of the Unsettling Questions series, Pastor Chris tackles perhaps the greatest and most fundamental unsettling question regarding our faith: “Does God exist?” Though philosophical arguments on this topic are never “airtight” or “conclusively demonstrable” (on either side of the argument), there are good arguments that lean toward the reasonableness of belief in God.

One great set of resources on this topic is found on Dr. William Lane Craig’s website, Here are two specific videos which relate directly to the topic of the existence of God:

1. Is There Meaning to Life?

2. The Kalam Cosmological Argument: Does God exist, or is the material universe all that is?

In his message, Chris looks at the strengths and weaknesses of three arguments for God’s existence: Cosmological, Argument from Design, and the Objective Moral Argument. We encourage you to dig into the videos and other resources at covering topics related to our Unsettling Questions series.

Our encouragement to you is to not get stuck, but keep pressing in and pursuing a deeper, reasonable faith – not only for yourself, but as you engage in dialogue with others, always with gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:15).
